Happening on 18 June 2011 at Surfers Paradise Beach, Launch It! is the kick off party that celebrates the opening of this year’s biggest event in the city. Surfers Paradise Festival is a four week celebration that features an array of spectacular events and programs. The Festival seeks to expand the thriving artistic and cultural scene of the city by producing and promoting events and programs that will exhibit the talents of young artists through visual or performance arts. What better way to start the four week long festivities than having a wickedly awesome party at Launch It!

Guests at our Surfers Paradise family accommodation will definitely party the night away as they grove to the heady beats and live music performances from the talented artists. Headlining this tremendous shindig are brilliant musicians namely Pete Murray, Claire Bowditch and the John Steel Singers. Known for his smooth vocals and  honest emotions is what has made Pete Murray one of the most popular and chart topping singer/songwriters in the country. Clare Bowditch is an ARIA award-winning artist that captivated audiences with her refreshingly brilliant sounds. You’ll be blow away by the innovative and very creative music from John Steel Singers. Completing the stellar musician line-up are Frankie & The Moon, Dan Hannaford / Clay Blyth, and Busby Marou. Local dj faves Stretch Paper Cranes and Audun will keep the music flowing as they play in between sets.
