Dance to the iconic 90s soundtrack of the 1996 film Romeo + Juliet in Young Hearts Run Free – an unmissable outdoor concert soon to arrive at Home of the Arts.

Baz Lurhmann’s Romeo + Juliet revamped Shakespeare’s 16th-century masterpiece with a grungy 90s soundtrack as Hollywood stars Leonardo Dicaprio and Claire Danes performed the roles of the titular star-crossed lovers with a gritty gang-related twist. Romeo + Juliet was an instant hit that generated over 145-million dollars and received an Academy Award nomination for Best Art Direction.

The memorable soundtrack of Romeo + Juliet featured 90s favourites such as Radiohead, The Cardigans, Everclear, Once Inch Punch, Butthole Surfers, The Wannadies, Garbage and more, and Young Hearts Run Free is your chance to enjoy the soundtrack and relive the story all over again at the Gold Coast’s Home of the Arts.

This exclusive concert will see some of the best musicians in the country perform the Romeo + Juliet soundtrack live on HOTA’s outdoor stage, offering fans a nostalgic throwback to the 90s packed with songs such as “Kissing You”, “Talk Show Host”, “You and Me Song”, “Lovefool”, “Everybody’s Free (to Feel Good)”, “#1 Crush” and the rest – straight from the original soundtrack of Baz Lurhmann’s Romeo + Juliet.
