Surfers Paradise Festival 20th June – 14th July

The annual Surfers Paradise Festival is fast approaching and this year’s event looks sure to be the biggest yet. Set along the iconic foreshore of Surfers Paradise, the festival is a one month celebration of all that’s great about Gold Coast culture, encompassing the very best of local art, music and food.

While the festival serves as an important leg up for up and coming artists and musicians, it is also a fabulous chance for locals and visitors alike to enjoy excellent music, delicious food and cutting edge art exhibitions at next to no cost. Most of the events, which include huge concerts, film screenings and street performances by comedians and talented circus performers, are completely free and you do not need a ticket to attend.

A massive weekend beach party is planned for this year to showcase the best of the contemporary national music scene. Dance the night away to live bands and DJs performing against the beautiful backdrop of Surfers Paradise Beach, close to our Surfers Paradise family accommodation.  An event called A La Carte in the Park is also in the pipeline, a celebration of the Coast’s vibrant dining scene which will take place in Lionel Perry Park. Attendees can enjoy the best of world class cuisine while kicking back in the sunshine and listening to live music from local jazz and folk performers. Sounds like too good a picnic to miss!
