The One Way Street Party is a free, all-ages event that showcases the very best of the Gold Coast’s musical and artistic scene on the streets of Surfers Paradise.
Now in its third year, the party transforms Apel Street, just a short stroll from our Surfers Paradise affordable accommodation, into a platform of cutting edge cultural expression with some of the region’s best indie bands performing live across three outdoor stages.
Away from all the great live music, you can venture into the Artists' Quarters to discover the latest work of local visual artists, get involved with creating your own graffiti art and check out a unique display of custom painted skate board decks at the Decksabition event. Clothes lovers meanwhile won’t want to pass up the opportunity to browse the vintage collections of some of the coast’s most dedicated hoarders and fashionistas.
