But that's not all, there will also be performers roaming around the area spreading some cheer. Watch and sing along as the carollers sing your favourite Christmas tunes and enjoy the acrobatic elves' amazing stunts.
Besides these, Cavill Mall will be featuring an assortment of colourful mascots like the Santa-roo roving characters. They will be wandering around the area daily from 1pm to 4pm. Keep your eyes peeled so you can score a photo opportunity and some hug.
Then on December 18, prepare your picnic blanket and head over to Surfers Paradise beach for the annual Carols on the Beach. Charli Robinson, Sea FM announcer and former Hi-5 star will be hosting the city's largest Christmas carols extravaganza
Catch performances by Brittney Green, Georgie Gillings, Mischief, Peter Murphy, Russell Francis, and Tom Gillinder. But that is not all. Kids will be delighted as Humphrey B Bear, the country's favourite bear graces the event. The cuddly and adventurous Blinky Bill will be there, too. And of course, jolly old Saint Nicholas will be the guest of honour. Wrapping up the evening is a spectacular fireworks display. Carols on the Beach starts at 6:30pm to 8pm.
